Snow Day

Lynn sent me a picture last night. Her sweater is finished and it looks great! I wonder what her next project is going to be.

Pattern: Mailin
Yarn: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok
It's done, just needs a good blocking.
Would definitely knit this again. Woolstok was great.
Mailin is a cozy sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. First the yoke is worked back and forth to the final neck CO. From that point the yoke is worked in the round to the underarms, where sleeve sts are placed on hold to work the body first top down to the bottom. Sleeve sts are then placed back on the needles to work them top down in the round. Neck finishing is worked last - the pattern includes two neck finishing options (option 1: scoop neck; option 2: cowl neck) as well as two slightly different versions of the front lace pattern.
Beth measured the snow that is sitting on our patio table. At 1pm it measured 38cm (15"). That isn't blown snow. We've shoveled the driveway and sidewalk twice today. My arms are sore :)

It snowed here all day. It would slow down a bit and then I would think about heading to the store. I was feeling guilty about being home all day. Then the wind started to blow and more snow came down.

I made it to number seven. Right now the last two colours look close but I think after a few rows we'll be able to see the difference.

It's early to bed tonight. We have to shovel one more time before work. And there is a road trip planned after work. We're heading to Milton to pick up the madelinetosh shipment.
